Executive Bios

Mike Benson

President & Chief Operating Officer

Mike Benson has 36 years of experience in all aspects of software development, marketing and distribution. In 1979, after nine years in IBM® software development, Mr. Benson joined Applied Communications Inc. (ACI), and held several technical and management positions, including Director of BASE24-atm® Development. In 1986, Mr. Benson founded Grapevine Systems, Inc. where he held operating positions, including Vice President of Development and Vice President of Marketing. Following the acquisition of Grapevine Systems in 1998 by ACI's holding company, Transaction Systems Architects, Inc., (TSA) Mr. Benson initiated and directed the acquisition and operation of Workpoint as Vice President, Enterprise Automation for the Insession Technologies Division of TSA. In November 2002, Mr. Benson left this position and founded Blue Sky Mobile Technology LLC, a Microsoft® software development company. In September 2006, Mr. Benson teamed with Planet Group, Inc. to acquire the Workpoint BPM Suite from TSA and to establish Workpoint LLC, a Planet Group, Inc. company.

Ruth Nimrod

Chief Technology Officer

Ruth Nimrod has more than 15 years of experience in software development and services. She is currently Chief Technology Officer at Workpoint LLC. Prior to joining Workpoint, Ms. Nimrod served as Project Director at Transaction Systems Architects, Inc's. (TSA) various business units, including Grapevine Systems, Inc., ACI Worldwide and Insession Technologies. Ms. Nimrod provided key roles in business consulting, project management, resource management and process improvement. As Project Director, she acted as a primary liaison between customers, suppliers and senior management, ensuring seamless project implementations and flawless system and application design. Ms. Nimrod has successfully orchestrated and implemented numerous projects in manufacturing, online services, interactive content applications, international Internet banking applications and business process management (BPM) applications. For the last five years, Ms. Nimrod worked on a global platform helping organizations define their BPM requirements and implement their BPM applications. Through this tenure, Ms. Nimrod gained a vast knowledge of best practices and modeling methods for business processes spanning numerous industries.

Joe Hartnett

Chief Financial Officer

Joe Hartnett has 28 years of experience in management, finance and accounting. As Workpoint's chief financial officer, Hartnett is responsible for accounting, reporting, tax and audit functions, as well as strategic planning and analysis and investor relations. Joe is also a member of the executive management team that oversees business growth and development.

Before joining Workpoint, Hartnett was executive V.P. and CFO at TSL Company Holdings, Ltd., a large intermodal transportation and logistics management company, where he had responsibilities for strategic planning, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management, employee benefits, and information technology. Previously, he was CFO of KHR, Ltd. after spending 17 years as a certified public accountant in the attest and consulting service areas for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton LLP and Lutz & Company.

Dan Mulgrue

Vice President, Sales

With more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience, Dan Mulgrue is currently Vice President of Sales for Workpoint LLC. Mr. Mulgrue is responsible for the strategic direction and development of worldwide sales. Prior to joining Workpoint, Mr. Mulgrue held various senior management positions at ACI Worldwide, including General Manager and Director of Sales and System Engineering. Mr. Mulgrue also held the posts of Director of Sales and Director of Product Channels at Grapevine Systems, and was instrumental in driving product growth and revenue.

Joe Le

Director of Marketing

With more than 10 years of marketing experience, Joe Le currently serves as the Director of Marketing for Workpoint LLC. Mr. Le is responsible for the strategic message of the company, as well as maintaining key relationships with analysts, vendors and customers. Prior to joining Workpoint, Mr. Le served as Marketing Manager at ACI Worldwide, where he was responsible for a variety of marketing functions, including international trade shows, promotional campaigns, e-marketing and customer communiqué. Mr. Le has also held managerial marketing positions in the industrial/CNC industry.
